We are honoured to have joined community leaders, industry partners, and supporters at this year’s Classroom Champions Champion Chats luncheon.

The event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when organizations come together to invest in the next generation. Through our involvement in the Energizing Communities Collective, we are helping bring mentorship, social-emotional learning, and meaningful opportunities to students in communities across Western Canada.

One of the highlights of the event was receiving an Indigenous beaded medallion, a meaningful symbol of our membership in the Collective and the impact being made possible through this partnership. We will proudly display this medallion as a reminder of the hundreds of schools and thousands of young people whose lives are being positively influenced through the Collective’s work.

A special thank‑you to our VP of Coil, Ben Nowell, for attending on our behalf and accepting the medallion. We appreciate his leadership and representation at this important event.

Thank you to Classroom Champions and all of the members of the Energizing Communities Collective for creating opportunities that help youth build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a sense of belonging. Together, we’re helping empower the next generation of champions.
